Chumphon Pinnacle
18–36m Β· Advanced
Koh Tao's most famous site. Giant grouper, whale sharks (seasonal), and huge schools of fish around towering granite boulders.
Sail Rock
6–40m Β· All levels
A pinnacle rising from the seabed between Koh Tao and Koh Phangan. Famous for whale sharks and a dramatic chimney swim-through.
Southwest Pinnacle
6–33m Β· Intermediate
Soft corals, moray eels, batfish, and barracuda. One of the most colourful sites on Koh Tao, great for photography.
Shark Island
6–18m Β· All levels
Despite the name, it's the turtles that steal the show here. Easy diving with beautiful coral gardens and clear visibility.
Hin Wong Pinnacle
8–30m Β· Intermediate
Remote and rarely crowded. Excellent marine life diversity β€” a local favourite for experienced divers.
Japanese Gardens
2–12m Β· Beginner
Perfect for OW training and fun dives. Shallow, calm, and teeming with clownfish, pufferfish, and colourful corals.
